Thanks to the generosity of local citizens and businesses, a new, state-of-the-art Animal Shelter hs been completed in Luling. It was funded by more than $70,000 in donations from local citizens and businesses and is located directly behind the Luling Police Department.
         Safe, Secure, Clean Housing
The new Luling City Shelter is located at 1800 E. Pierce Street, directly behind the Luling Police Station.  The shelter consists of two buildings.  A headquarters with offices, cat room, bathing room, exam room and restroom, and  a separate building consisting of 24 dog kennels.
Elevating the City of Luling
This new shelter belongs to the City of Luling and could not have been built without management and financial support from the Luling Police Chief, Luling City Manager and the Luling City Council.
A Large Exercise Yard Means Quality of Life
Guillotine doors connect indoor and outdoor kennels which open into a spacious exercise yard, which is essential for animal care and comfort.
The New Luling Animal Shelter is Open!
A wall of honor acknowledges the generous donors that made this new shelter possible
LAWS holds adoption events at the PetSmart store in San Marcos on most Saturdays, and we also continue to host adoptions at the Seguin Tractor Supply Store.
