Our 2020 Thumpin' 5K has been canceled for June due to Covid-19. It will possibly be rescheduled later in the year.
Our 2019 7th Annual Thumpin' 5K was a great success and a ton of fun. The 5K is our main fundraising event each year and provides a significant amount of our operating budget. By participating, you not only get to enjoy a fun 5K, but you are truly helping save lives!

8th Annual Thumpin' 5K Trail Fun Run/Walk
Where: Luling, Texas
Address: Carter Memorial Airport/Rodeo Arena, Hwy 183
Date: currently canceled due to COVID-19. will possibly be rescheduled later in the year
Time: 7:30 AM (plan to be a little early, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area, as we plan to start the race promptly at 7:30 AM)
Fee: $30.00 19 yrs & over, $15.00 18 yrs & under
(All participants registered by June 20th are guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pick up will be at 6:30 on race day).
Parking: Rodeo Arena
Course Description: This 5K course will begin and end in front of the Rodeo Arena. This is an in-and-out trail course with rolling terrain
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd Men & Women in these categories: 14 & under, 15 - 24, 25 - 34, 35 - 44, 45 - 54, 55 - 64, 65 and over
Directions: Luling is approximately 50 miles South of Austin & East of San Antonio. From Austin take Hwy 183 South, go through Lockhart; the Airport is approximately 2 miles from the city of Luling. From San Antonio take I-10 East to Luling & take Hwy 183 North. A reference marker is the “Discover Our River” water tower
